Decimal Odds

If you are used to seeing fractional odds then decimal odds can be a bit daunting. Basically what the decimal odds represent is a total return of your bet and stake. Let us explain. 2/1 is fairly simple to understand, put £10 on and win £20. However your return from the bookie would be £30 as you obviously get your stake back too. 2/1 in decimal odds is 3.0, meaning if you multiply your £10 by 3.0 you will get the total of your winnings plus stake return - £30. Simple enough to work out the decimal odds for 2/1 but what about 4/7 or 13/8? A bit tougher eh. No problem though just use this table below as a handy reference.
